Get to know this goofy guy!
So! You’re Interested in Savannah Burger…I must say, you have good taste!
First off, I’m a 4th-year Art Studio and English Double-Major at UC Davis. I would say that I’m a general down-to-Earth dude. I love the outdoors, the redwoods and coastal bluffs of California, and the critters that live alongside us. If you couldn’t tell, I was born and raised in California, and operate in the Bay Area, one of the raddest places in the world.
I love all things comedy (I am a part of a college improv group, of course), and pretty much all forms of positive, human expression. I was raised in awe of pieces of media such as Samurai Jack, Steven Universe, Studio Ghibli, and SO many more…Art, be it literary, visual, or performative, is everything to me.

Getting to the brass tacks with art, It is imperative to me both personally and professionally. It is how I express myself emotionally and politically—showing others what I love and what’s important to me. What I choose to love shapes my life, and my art is a visual representation of that relationship.
Professionally, art is my most effective tool that helps other people communicate their passions and interests through visual means. I currently work as a graphic designer/illustrator for The California Aggie, so I collaborate with multiple, different writers every week to create visuals that complements their writing.
I especially like to use art to illustrate both narrative and political opinion, which is most apparent in my 3’x3’ oil painting, “ONLY YOU CAN PUT OUT THE FIRES OF HATE” and “Bijou’s Lair,” my 25-panel illustrated narrative. These two pieces show that I have the range needed to create pieces that have widely different messages and goals, one being a comment on social issues and the other being for means of entertainment.
